The Elephant and Wheelbarrow, 94-96 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC 3000
Not bad for a traditional British pub. However, there were a few red flags from the get go, that overall hurt the score and more importantly tarnished the memories.
$17 for a pint of Guinness, should be a jail-able offence. It was a restless sleep that night and I am still a little bit shaken by this traumatic experience.
The pint itself fairly undesirable, no character and a sturdy head that left me wondering if I needed to pay more to get more liquid.
Great company, and a cracking game of Friday night footy recovered these blasphemous and whimsical prices.
All in all, not bad grub and vibe for an Ol' English pub. Just not for me.
